WELCOME - I am a National Contemporary Jazz recording artist with an award winning debut CD release entitled Epiphany. My new CD Cayman Moon was reviewed by Kenny Cortes of Denver's Smooth Jazz 104.3. His overall comment was "it's as good as anything I have ever played!" Both have received national airplay. I worked for Royal Caribbean aboard the ship "The Monarch of the Sea’s" out of Los Angeles and am a member of the Club Med Guest Artist program. I have been performed regularly throughout Colorado including the Marriott in Lionshead Village in Vail, Denver’s Smooth Jazz 104.3’s "Sunday Brunch". Three of my original songs have been included on their recent Smooth Jazz 104.3 Samplers Volume 5, 6, and 7. My performance list also includes The Broadmoor, The Brown Palace, Cool River Café, Jazz At Jack's, Patricks, Simms Landing, AMTRAK’s Wine Tasting Train, Cherry Hills , Denver, Ptarmigan, Cherry Creek, Lakewood, Perry Park, Inverness, and Glenmoor Country Clubs, as well as the Cherry Creek Arts Festival and many private parties and corporate events. I am also available to play in the Charlotte NC area as well as nationally.
I perform with my 5 piece band Cayman Moon. The band CAYMAN MOON is : Bob Rebholz on sax/flute/EWI (IMAGES), Tom Capek music director/keys (DOTSERO), Thomas Jefferson bass (Hazel Miller), Larry Thompson drums (Brian Savage).
I also play guitar solo “live to track” (a track of my CD as well as other Contemporary Jazz hits and Jazz standards that have a full arrangement that I play guitar to). I have a set up of P.A. equipment as large or small as the performance requires, allowing me to maintain complete control over the volume level. This provides the ability to play in a space and at a volume level designed for each individual room and is perfect for piano bar presentation, background dinner music at wine tasting and private party functions. I also offer a duo performance with saxophone or can set up for a full entertainment presentation as I did for the main Janus stage at the 2005 Cherry Creek Arts Festival.
